Mrs. John Harbin died in this city at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Kiddoo, at the advanced age of seventy-six years, one month and five days, at half-past two o’clock Sunday afternoon. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Green Bay, Rev. D. Shenton of Osceola preaching the discourse. Mrs. Harbin was born in Harrison county, Ohio. (May 31,1820)

About 43 years ago she came to Iowa with her husband, Mr. John Harbin who died May 9, 1896. She was converted at the age of 14 years and was for more than 62 years a faithful and consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
