At his residence in Clark County, Iowa, August 3rd, 1862, of Consumption, Capt. Robert Boden, aged 47 years. The deceased was for many years a resident of Menallen township, Fayette County, Pa., and was highly esteemed as an honorable man and a good citizen. He had been for many years a zealous and upright member of the regular Baptist Church, and died with bright hopes of a blessed immortality. He had also been a worthy member of the Masonic Fraternity, and his remains were interred with Masonic Honors.
