Mrs. Vineda Minear died April 5th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kearney in Liberty township. She was a good Christian woman, born May 9, 1814 being seventy-four years, ten months and twenty seven days old when she died. She was a pensioner of the war of 1812 having married a soldier of that war. She died of pneumonia induced by la grippe.

Note: The headstone has the year of birth inscribed as 1816 and the obituary states the year of birth was 1814.
