Terry Edward Jackson

Terry Edward Jackson, son of Fred and Wanda Fortune Jackson, was born Aug. 8, 1962, in Leon and died Sept. 1, 1993, in Lucas County of injuries sustained in a construction accident.

He attended the Clarke Community Schools in Weldon and Osceola. He married Krystal Hein on March 18, 1989, at Weldon Christian Church. The couple were the parents of two children, Kristina and Krystal.

Mr. Jackson liked spending time out in the timber and especially hunting with his friends. His hobbies included fishing, collecting antiques, bowling, and dreaming of roping the wind.

Mr. Jackson lived all his life in Clarke County as a farmer and owner operator. His cattle and family were his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and infant son Christopher.

Surviving Mr. Jackson are his wife, Krystal Jackson of Osceola; two daughters, Kristina and Krystle Jackson of Osceola; parents, Fred "Bud" and Wanda Jackson of Weldon; two brothers, Dennis Jackson of Glenwood and Danny Jackson and his wife, Marie, of Grand River and their two sons, Donny of Grand River and Shawn of Osceola; parents-in-law, Diane and Larry Hein; as well as other relatives and a host of friends.

A graveside service for Mr. Jackson was held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Hebron Cemetery in Clarke County. Pastor Walt Williams officiated.

Casket bearers were John Jackson, Donald Buckingham, Steve Carney, Bruce Swenson, Jeff Olson, and Dan Miler. Honor bearers were Steve Cox and Randy Johnson. Burial was in the Hebron Cemetery.

Kale Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
