Civilla Inise Tompkins

Daughter of Andrew Tompkins living two miles north of Weldon, died Thursday, September 5, 1907, at the age of 18 years, 8 months, 22 days. She had not been in good health for almost a year but her last illness was of short duration. Miss Tompkins was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church at Weldon, having joined it during a special meeting held by Rev. W. H. Doyle and Rev. Shewmaker.

The funeral services were held from the church at Weldon Saturday, conducted by Rev. G. E. Mitchell after which interment was made in the Hebron cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
