Aaron Hopkins died at his home in Liberty township, February 7th, aged seventy-five years, three months and eighteen days. He was born September 30, 1820, in Center county, Pa., where he spent the early part of his life. In 1859 he married Miss Eliza Baker, this being his second marriage. In April, 1869, he moved to Liberty township, Clarke county, where be spent the remainder of his life. He leaves an aged wife, one daughter and three sons to mourn his loss. The funeral was preached by Rev. Hulbert at Bethel Chapel, Sunday at 11 a. m., after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery.
