Edith Emeline Miler.

The death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vinton Miler Saturday evening, October 4, 1919, when the spirit of little Edith Emeline was called to rest. She was eight years, eight months and 17 days of age.

We cannot understand the works of God and why such a tiny flower should be taken.

Little Edith was a sweet dispositioned child and was loved by all who became acquainted with her during her short life. God has added another gem to his store.

The little words which were spoken at the last will always be remembered. Her class wrote letters and sent a gift to her a short time before she died. At the last she called for these and said, "Mama get my letters. Now I lay them away. A drink," and was gone to sleep with Jesus.

She leaves to mourn their loss a father, mother, one sister Mary, three brothers, Willie, Frank and Russell, besides a host of friends.

Jesus said: "Suffer little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."
