Little Eva, daughter of T. E. and Martha Barnard, died on the 7th of September. The funeral services were held at the residence on the 8th, conducted by Rev. Preston. The remains were interred in the Liberty cemetery. Little Eva was a bright, lovely child, the pet and darling of all who knew her. Too pure for a sinful world like this. The bereaved parents and sorrowing relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in their deep affliction.
