Died. - In Hopeville, April 3d, Morton, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Adkins, aged 2 years and 5 months.

Mortie was a bright interesting child, and the little sisters whose brother has gone and the parents whose hope is thus early cut off, have the sympathy of the entire community in which they live. Yet, these Christian parents know that “The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away,” gathering the little children to be “Bright gems for his crown."
