The sympathy of the entire community goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Callaway and family of near Medora, in the loss of their daughter, Vera, aged 9 years, who passed away Monday, February 1, about noon of diphtheria. The little body was laid to rest in Bethel Chapel cemetery on Monday evening. It was thought that she was slowly improving and her Grandma Hamilton, who had been with them a few days, had returned home the latter part of the week, but when the sudden change came she was soon taken. It was a terrible shock to the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hamilton, who are both quite poorly. We hope to soon hear of the other little girl being much improved.
