T. V. Daily of Woodburn, was transacting business in the county seat yesterday. Mr. Daily is 80 years of age and he is remarkably spry for one of his years. He is a native of Indiana. He was married in 1869, and he and Mrs. Daily settled in Woodburn 36 years ago. Mrs. Daily was called by death February 9, and her bereaved husband is experiencing the saddest days of his life. They have no children except an adopted son. Fortunately the adopted son's sister, Miss Ransis, is keeping house for Mr. Daily thus affording him as much comfort and consolation as could be extended to him while the clouds of sorrow hang heaviest over him. The sympathy of many friends are with him.
