Christopher Joseph Auderer, son of Randy Auderer and Tonia Mateer was born January 13, 1987 in Des Moines, Iowa and passed from this life Sunday, July 10, 2011 at his home in Osceola, Iowa at 24 years of age.

Chris graduated from Clarke Community High School in 2003 at the age of 16. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17 and served with Charlie Battery, First. Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment. He served two tours in Iraq obtaining the rank of Lance Corporal. He was currently enrolled at SWCC in Creston and was studying to be a trauma nurse with hopes of working at the VA hospital.

Chris was a good hearted and very loyal friend. Spending time with his family was very important. He enjoyed music, his computer, playing golf, camping and bowling. He enjoyed a good debate, picking a side of a subject and by the time the debate was over there was a good chance you were on Chris' side of the debate.

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother and step-father, Tonia and Larry Mateer of Osceola; father and step-mother, Randy and Terri Auderer of Kansas City, MO; brother, Joshua (Jodie) Auderer of Osceola; sister, Tausha (Tim) Mateer Berry of Kansas City, MO; grandmother, Ramona "Dickie" Teller of Osceola; grandparents, Jack & Diane Beatty of Chariton; grandparents, Loras "Red" & Carol Auderer of Missouri; nephew, Joshua Berry of Kansas City, MO; nephew, Elijah Berry of Kansas City, MO other relatives and many friends.
