FINAL RITES ARE CONDUCTED FOR MRS. G. WEYDERT

New Hampton, Iowa - Funeral services for Mrs. George Weydert, 69, were held Monday morning in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Washington with a solemn requim high Mass. The Rev Louis Gerleman, pastor, was celebrant; the Rev. Fr. Henneman, Charles City, deacon, and the Rev Donald Weydert, Grundy Center, sub-deacon.

Mrs. Weydert died Friday night from a heart condition. She was born Catherine Maiers, daughter of Peter and Angela Maiers, at North Washington on July 3, 1886. She married George Weydert on June 20, 1911. He died on March 27, 1943. Surviving are three children, Henry Weydert and Eugene Weydert, both of North Washington, and Mrs. George Zuiderma, Charles City, one brother, Henry Maiers, Dubuque, and one sister, Mrs. Leo Adams, North Washington. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
