WATERLOO - Connie A. Hermann, 57, of Waterloo, formerly of New Hampton, died at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo Saturday, February 14, 2004, of Cancer.

Services were 10:30 a.m, Wednesday, February 18 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Burial was in New Hampton Cemetery at 2:30 Wednesday. Visitation was Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:OO p.m. at the Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials can be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Connie Hermann was born March 7, 1946 in New Hampton, Iowa, to Russell S. Munson and Iola Munson Ptacek. She graduated from New Hampton High School in 1964 and the Univ of Northern Iowa in 1976 w / B of Art Degree. Connie married John Hermann Jr on June 12,1966 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hampton. She worked as a Corporate Project Manager for 23 years for Hectronic Data Systems She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Waterloo.

Survivors include her husband John Hermann Jr., Waterloo, IA; 2 daughters, Anne (Eric) Anderson, Ashburn, VA and Elizabeth Davis, Woodstock, CA, her mother Lola Munson Ptacek, New Hampton, IA, 5 sisters. Pat (Dick) Crawford, Waterloo, IA, Bev (Bob) Lowe, Lansing, IA, Mary Ptacek, Henderson, NV, Rose (Bill) Lowe, New Hampton, IA, and Kristi and Randy Schmidt, Cedar Rapids, IA, 2 brothers Bob (Pat) Munson, Grundy Center, IA, Jerry (Mavis) Ptacek, New Hampton, IA, 2 sisters-in-law
Kathy Munson, New Hampton, IA, and Linda (Steve)
Anderson, Crofton, MD, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her father, Russell Munson, brother, Larry Munson, and step-father, Frank Ptacek.
