On Tuesday morning at 7:30 at Mt. Carmel Catholic church at Lawler, Miss Estella Cooney of that place and Mr. Charles Peters of New Hampton were united in marriage, Father Ryan officiating.
The bride was attired in a handsome dress of white voile over white silk trimmed with shadow silk lace. Miss Loretta Dougherty of Dougherty was the bridesmaid. She was dressed in a becoming dress of white serge. Both ladies wore large white picture hats and each carried a large boquet of white roses. The groom was attended by his nephew Arthur Schnurr, both gentlemen wore the customery black suits.

A reception and wedding dinner was given by Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Cooney, the parents of the bride at their home near Lawler.

The bride and groom left on the midnight train for Chicago and other eastern cities where they will visit with relatives for a short time, after which they will be at home on the groom's fine farm near New Hampton, and extend a cordial invitation to their many friends to pay them a visit.

Those from here who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mr. J. M. Brady and children, Mrs Vern Riggins, Miss Loretta Dougherty and C. C. Wertz, the latter taking the party to New Hampton Monday afternoon in his auto.
