Fred A. Koch, 90, died suddenly Thursday, March 15, at his home in Aurelia.

Services will be Monday at United Methodist Church, Aurelia. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.

He was born May 28, 1909, in Stanton County, Neb., and served in the U.S. Navy. He married Mildred Albers Dec. 4, 1929. They lived most of their married life in the Aurelia area. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Val of rural Cherokee; daughters Mrs. Delmar (Ardyce) Wolterman, Ida Grove; and Mrs. Dale (Charlene) Peterson, Aurelia; a sister, Mrs. Ann McGrane,, North Platte, Neb., and 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
