MRS. HERMAN BRODERSON

MERRILL, Iowa — Mrs. Herman Broderson, 74, Merrill, a former resident of Cherokee, died Thursday in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Alice C. Dunn was born Sept. 4, 1900, in Meriden. She was married on Feb. 14, 1924, in Cherokee. The couple lived in Cherokee and moved to Merrill in 1966.

Survivors include her husband, sons, Joseph, Le Mars, and Robert, Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. William (Delores) Steele, Sioux City; 21 grandchildren, and brothers, Raymond, Correctionville, Harold, Cherokee, and Darrell, Meriden.

Funeral services were held today at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Merrill. The Rev. Robert J. McClintock officiated. Burial was in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cherokee
