MILO L. DAVIS

AURELIA - Milo L. Davis, 65, of Aurelia died Saturday in Cherokee. He was born Oct. 1, 1903, in Castana, IA and was married to Shirley Starr on June 21, 1936, at Tripp, S. D.

Before moving to Aurelia three years ago, he had lived at Cherokee for 24 years. He was a tank truck driver. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Davis. He had been employed by Vetter Oil Co., but more recently worked for Cherokee Park Commission. Mrs. Davis preceded him in death on Oct. 4, 1960.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Davis of Cherokee and Joel of Aurelia; two daughters, Mrs. Leon Johnson, Jr., of Pine City, Minn., and Mrs. Ronald Peck, Jr., Aurelia; and seven grandchildren. His mother, Mrs. Charles Davis to Tripp, & D.; two brothers, Harold Davis of Tyndall, S. D. and Francis of Fairview, S. D., and four sisters, Mrs. Otto Magstadt, Mrs. Arnold Sundau and Mrs. Walter Rembold, all of Tripp and Mrs. Floyd Curtiss of Miller, S. D., also survive.

Funeral services were to be at 2:30 p.m. today at Greenwood Funeral Home with Dr. V.V. Schuldt of United Methodist officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cherokee. A family prayer service at 1:30 pm. preceded other services at the funeral home.
