I am looking for obituaries for Gilbert David WORDEN and Mary PEET WORDEN. Gilbert went by David. David died 25 Jan 1898 in Fertile, Worth County, IA and was buried in the Lincoln Township Cemetery in Cerro Gordo County, IA. Mary died 8 Nov 1884 in Fertile, Worth County, IA and was also buried in the Lincoln Township Cemetery in Cerro Gordo County IA. I'm guessing that the Mason City newspaper might have obituaries for them, but I do not know the name of any papers from that era nor whether any archives might still exist. Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Please respond to my email address.
