A Horrible Death.
Mason City Globe-Gazette:—The little 3 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christianson, of Grafton, was burned to death Monday at 1 o’clock. Mrs. Christianson had been to memorial services at church and on returning the mother left the house for a few minutes to get meat for dinner. When she returned she found the little one so badly burned that it died in about 3 hours. The child had found some matches and was evidently trying to light the lamp as the chimney was off and the lamp ready to light. Mr. Christianson keeps a store in Grafton. The parents are grief stricken over the sad occurrence.
