Another Murder at Mason City.
Mason City, Feb. 18.—James Ellison, a farmer, was stabbed to death late this afternoon by L. R. Bone, a fireman. Ellison lived about an hour. Bone went to a hardware store, bought a five inch blade, butcher knife, met Ellison and plugged him in the back of the neck, the blade’s point reaching the lobe of the lung. Bone run into a lumber yard. A friend got him a team and he has thus far escaped. The sheriff and a number of deputies are in hot chase. It is not probable that he can evade the the{sic} officers.
