Nancy Charlene Holm, 77, of Mason City, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Hospital-St. Marys Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.

A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City, with Pastor Ed Bard officiating. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City.

Family suggests memorial contributions to the Nancy Holm Memorial Fund.

Nancy was born Feb. 20, 1939, the daughter of Charles and Merle (Jensen) Otto in Mason City. She grew up and attended school in Mason City, graduating from Mason City High School in 1957. Following high school, she worked for Rockwell International for 15 years, Midwest Plastics, Marshall and Swift, and then Target for six years.

Nancy enjoyed cooking, watching television, playing games on the computer, and also playing cards with friends. She also liked having coffee with her friends at the Senior Citizens Center, watching movies, and going roller skating.

Nancy is survived by three sisters, Betty Anderson of Mankato, MN, Joyce Constien of Greene, IA, and Janice Fisher of Waterloo; two nieces, Connie Perez of Mankato and Tammy Foster of Waterloo; and many great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steven Holm; two sisters, Gladys Smidt and Frances Pannhoff; and a niece, Jackie Fromm.
