May 20, 1935 - July 20, 2017
Jack F. Bull, 82, of Mason City, IA died Thursday, July 20, 2017, in Manly, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Seventh-day Adventist Church, 815 North Kentucky Avenue, with Pastor Matthew Lucio officiating.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday July 24, 2017, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N Pennsylvania Avenue.

Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jack was born on May 20, 1935 in Mason City to Forrest and Ethel (Allen) Bull. Jack attended Mason City High.

Jack and Jaunice (Odom) Bull were married on September 15, 1956 having met at church.

Jack was known for his carpentry and stone work and loved working with his hands. He spent 36 years working for the Mason City Parks department and can be credited for constructing multiple structures that are still intact to this day in the local parks. Jack enjoyed making people smile and had a sense of humor that was truly unique.

Jack enjoyed gardening, fishing, and attending church. Jack loved spending time with his family. He greatly looked forward to visits from his grandchildren and great grandson. Jack's passion was for singing and sharing Jesus through song. He is known for his kindness and his compassion. He always had a word of encouragement to share with others. He was a special man and touched many lives. He will be missed.

Jack is survived by his wife Jaunice (Odom) Bull; sons Leland Bull and Steven (Melissa) Bull; siblings Thayas (James) Willson, Willis (Patricia) Bull, LaVonne Westendorf, Larry (Gearadine) Bull, Peggy (Peter) Lipka, Ronald (Karen) Bull, Duane (Kristi) Bull; grandchildren Matthew (Elisabeth), Katie (Brandon), Chelsea, Megan (Jayson), Paige, Claire, great grandchild Oliver; many nieces and nephews.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents Forrest and Ethel (Allen) Bull; siblings Guy, Mary and Doris.
