September 21, 2016WILLSONVILE, Oregon — A native Mason Cityan, William J. Chambers of Wilsonville, Oregon, passed away on Sept. 14, 2016.
Bill was a graduate in the class of 1951 of Mason City High School and continued his education at Iowa State University, from which he was graduated in 1955 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
He is survived by Connie (Davis), his wife of 53 years; two sons Tim Chambers of Molalla, Oregon and Tom Chambers of Portland, Oregon; and daughter Julie Chambers of Lake Oswego, Oregon. Surviving also are his three brothers; Dr. John Chambers of Anacortes, Washington, David Chambers of Goodyear, Arizona and Robert (Ed) Chambers of Larkspur, Colorado.
