William Ashton Oxley, 89, a retired farmer, died Sunday, January 15 at a Mason City Nursing Home.

Services for Oxley will be at 1:30pm Wednesday, January 18 at the Zion Lutheran Church, with Reverend Murley A. Severtson, officiating.

Interment in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, Ia.

Oxley was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and IOOF and Eden Farm Club.

Oxley was born February 18, 1888 at Clear Lake, Ia. the son of George Oxley and Louisa (Hugh) Oxley, and was married to Pearl Walton on March 10, 195 at the Zion Lutheran church, Clear Lake, Ia.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl, Clear Lake; one step son, Myron Olson, Clear Lake, two step daughters, Mrs. Dorance (Marilyn) Rosendahl, Ventura and Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Bender, Solon, Ia., one brother, Vern Oxley, Clear Lake, thirteen step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.

Mrs. A. E. Folkmann is the organist and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Shaffer, duet.

Flower ladies are, Mrs. Ted Truax and Mrs. Stanley Lee.

Pallbearers are, Wayne Orval and Sam Spilman, Stanley Lee, Clare Olson and Amos Wood.

James funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
