At the age of 20, Clark came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior. His desire to share the gospel was evidenced by the Evangelistic meetings he held in Western Iowa for 20 years. He touched many lives with the gospel he preached.

Those left to cherish Clark’s memory is his wife, Delores Burmester; his parents, Max and Evelyn Sharp; his brothers, Dale Sharp and Gary Sharp; his sister, Linda Williams; as well as many other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Larry and Richard and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

'But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.'
