Paul Alan Bailey, 55, of Mason City, passed away on Friday, (October 6, 2017) at Muse Norris Hospice – Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (October 11, 2017) at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd Street NE, Mason City, with Pastor Mark Doebel officiating. Burial inurnment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Paul Alan Bailey, was born April 25, 1962, son of Paul Arthur and Dianne (Grimm) Bailey. He attended Clear Lake High School, class of 1980. After high school, Paul attended Iowa State University and received his degree in computer technology and math. He was united in marriage to Nancy on July 13, 1989.

Paul worked at Woodman Controls for twenty-five years as a HVAC Technician. He also worked as a youth counselor for Francis Lauer Youth Services.

He enjoyed computers, playing his guitars, spending time with his family and friends.

Paul is survived by his wife, Nancy Bailey, of Mason City; daughter, Stephanie (Matthew) Staver, of Ankeny; step children, Laurie (Paul) Chiarello, of Omaha, Dale (Chris) Ficken, of Mason City, Angela (Don) Hill, of Muscatine, Mark Whitten, of Mason City; one granddaughter, Elle, of Ankeny; aunt, Arnita Meinders, of Clear Lake; uncle, Douglas Grimm, of Forest City; and extended family and friends.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dianne Bailey; step daughters, Melinda Ficken, and Michelle Morgan.
