Lynn was born September 13, 1968 in Mason City, Iowa the daughter of Paul and Helene (Bruns) Bachellor. Lynn graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1986. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree during 1995 from Iowa State University Ames, Iowa. Lynn furthered her education and obtained her Masters M.A. Ed., Curriculum and Instruction - Science Education; Education Leadership from University of Houston in 2008.

Lynn taught Junior High science & 9th Grade science at Aldine Independent School System where she was awarded Teacher of the Year while at Drew Academy during 2009. Lynn presently worked at the Region 4 as Education Specialist Science/School Studies Services; where she conducted seminars and worked with teachers. While employed with Region 4 Lynn was lead writer of a science book Gateways to Science, STARR Edition 6 through 8.

Lynn enjoyed baking for her coworkers and was known for whipping up coffee cake and taking it into Region 4, still warm, for her co-workers. She also had a great passion for collecting sand samples, rocks, and minerals.

If one of her many friends were on vacation Lynn asked they return with a sample of sand along with the location where it was obtained and added to her large collection.

Lynn is survived by her mother, Helene Bachellor, Clear Lake; sisters, Lisa Lenz, Clear Lake and Laura Bachellor, Mason City; her nephew, Dustin (Bre) Lenz, Latimer; great nieces, Kendra Pickar and Dezirae Lenz.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Bachellor; nephew, Nic Lenz and her grandparents.

Like in life Lynn was a loving and caring person and her last gift in life was being a tissue and organ donor.

The quote "I am Wealthy in Friends" from Shakespear - Timon of Athens, Act II S,2 certainly applied to Lynn and she will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.
