5073 MARY JANE BROWN (Harriet N. 2860 , Benjamin 1396, Ichabod 666, Eleazer 226, Eleazer 72, Jeremiah 15, Joseph 4, Edward 1), was born in Hampden, Ohio, April 23, 1840. She married in Bradford, Iowa, March 25, 1857, Thomas Perrett, who was born in Stolford, England, May 27, 1827 son of Thomas and Ann (Rawlings) Perrett. He was a farmer and they resided in Rock Falls, iowa, where he died May 1, 1889. She died there April 22, 1905.

Children, born in Rock Falls, Iowa:
7638 Elizabeth, born Jan. 27, 1860
7639 Harriet Ann, born Aug. 6, 1861. She is a retired teacher.
7640 Laura Jane, born Jan. 27, 1870; died Nov. 16, 1892
7641 Thomas Rawlings, born Dec. 23, 1873; married Chloe May Cochonour, who was born in Buchanan Co., Iowa, June 7, 1878 daughter of Jacob Frank and Sarah Jane (Axline) Cochonour. They reside in Rock Falls, where he is a stock buyer. One child, Doris Chloe, born in Rock Falls, Sept. 18, 1899.

Mary Jane's parents were Thomas Brown (1794-1858) and Harriet Newell Jewett (1808-1869).
