Henrietta Stearns, born August 13, 1852 in Newburyport, Mass., daughter of Edwin Stearns, of Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. Married D.E. Packard, born February 15, 1848 in Fredonia, Licking County, Ohio, son of E. C. and Caroline (Baily) Packard.

Seven children, one died in infancy. Six living:
