Jack Shea, of Mason City, Wounds a
Man Who Had Broken Up His
Home

Mason City, Iowa, Feb. 4. – Fred Repp lies dangerously wounded at his Wheeler home in this city. He has been a farm hand in the employ of Jack Shea. The latter had secured an indictment against his wife on account of her alleged relations with Repp Saturday night. Shea accompanied by his two daughters attempted to go to his house. It is claimed that Repp was in his house and fired at Shea, who returned the fire, the bullet striking Repp close to the heart. Mrs. Shea was shot through the hand. Shea is under arrest. Mrs. Shea is the daughter of J. A. Walch, one of the wealthiest citizens in this county.
