Funeral services for Lucille Windle, 68, were held Jan. 25 at Wilton Junction with the Rev. Homer Perry officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery at Wilton Junction.

Miss Windle died Jan. 22 at a Muscatine nursing home after a short illness.

The daughter of Henry and Katherine Roth Windle, she was born Oct. 10, 1897, at Wilton Junction and had been a lifelong resident of that community. Miss Windle was a member of the United Church of Christ.

Survivors include 2 sisters, Mrs. Clara Lanifer, Muscatine, and Mrs. Elwood (Freda) Cook, Chicago, Ill.; and a brother, William H. Windle, Wilton Junction. Her parents, 2 sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
