Funeral services for Lowery A. (Pat) Ford, 80, were held Aug. 29 at Wilton Junction with the Rev. Caleb Larsen officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery at Wilton Junction. Mr. Ford died at his home in Wilton Junction Aug. 26, following a lengthy illness.

He was born May 1, 1885, in Cedar county, the son of Jonathan and Elizabeth Ayers Ford, and married Carrie Jasperson Nov. 28, 1915, at Kansas City, Mo.

Mr. Ford was a farmer in the Wilton Junction area until he moved to Wilton Junction in 1944.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Wayne; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Leota) Herr; and a brother, Orval, all of Wilton Junction.

Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
