Mrs. Ida May Baker, 75, died at 4:15 p.m. Monday at a Muscatine nursing home following a lingering illness. She had been a resident of the Atalissa area for the past 19 years.
Born April 24, 1883, at Tipton, she was a daughter of Stewart and Emma Carlisle Ochiltree. Mrs. Baker made her home at Cedar Rapids and North Liberty before moving to Atalissa.
Survivors include her husband, Burt; one brother, Homer Ochiltree, Wilton Junction; a half-brother, Albert Peden, of West Liberty, and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Kephart, Costa Mesa, Calif.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at West Liberty. Burial was in the Overman cemetery near Atalissa.
