Funeral services for Mrs. Daniel McAfee, 85, were held Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the Presbyterian church in Mechanicsville. The Rev. George Gallaher and the Rev Keith Taber of Cedar Rapids, a former pastor of the Mechanicsville church, officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. McAfee died Aug. 30 in a nursing home at Tipton.

Mrs. McAfee was born in Everlon, Pa., and came to Iowa in 1912. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Maurer, Tipton, and a granddaughter, Karen. Her husband died in 1950.
