Funeral services for Harold Zane Williams, 51, were held at the Sheets & Dahn funeral home with the Rev. Arthur Stratememyer in charge. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mr. Williams died at his home in Cedar Bluff Sept. 8, after an extended illness.

The son of I. Z. and Louise Mayer Williams, he was born in Cedar county June 9, 1907. He attended the Tipton school and was a member of the Reformed church as a young man.

He was united in marriage to Genevieve Hubler March 30, 1942, at Kahoka, Mo. He spent several years in western states and the remainder of his life in Cedar county.

He enlisted in the navy Sept. 21, 1943, and served for 19 months before his honorable discharge May 29, 1945.

He is survived by his wife and one son, Richard; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Donsted, Coquille, Ore., and Mrs. Myrtle McGillvary, Aumsville, Ore., and a brother, Everett, Toledo, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
