Mrs. Frank (Christina) Kysely, 69, who had lived north of here for the past 44 years, took her own life by hanging Thursday afternoon. Her husband found the body in a machine shed when he came in from the fields in the afternoon.

She had been in ill health for an extended period.

Mrs. Kysely was born near Solon July 24, 1889, the daughter of Frank and Annie Petrick Hartman. She was married to Frank Kysely at Marion March 16, 1910.

The couple established a home near Solon, then four years later moved to the West Branch area. For a number of years Mrs. Kysely had been a correspondent in her area for the West Branch, Tipton and Mechanicsville newspapers.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Emma Wehde, Lisbon; a son, William, Palo; three granddaughters; one great-grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Holecek, Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Rose Walton, Mt. Vernon, and a brother, Frank Hartman, Mechanicsville.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Methodist church. Burial was in West Branch cemetery.
