4 April 1928 - West Branch Times

Warren Ray Muma, the small son of Raymond Guy and Lillian Muma, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 29, at the tender age of 2 years, 6 months and 22 days. He was born Sept. 7, 1925.

The little boy had been ailing with flu for a few days but was feeling better and no thought of serious consequences entered the minds of his loved ones; yet early on Thursday morning the young life suddenly ended its stay here, to take up the higher life in the Better Land, in the Father's care.

The home so suddenly bereft will have the comfort of little Wanda Lee and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Pennock, to help temper this hard blow.

Ernest Pennock, brother of Mrs. Muma, was on his way home from California, and was reached by wire at Taroun, N.M., which brought him home in time for the funeral services which were held at the home on Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Burial was made in the West Branch cemetery. The Rev. H. D. Green, pastor of the Methodist church had charge of the obsequies.
