Mary A. Gibheard was born in Franklin county, Maine, June 1, 1851. She removed with her parents to Dodge county, Minn., in 1862 and later to River Falls, Wis., where she was married to Elias Hutchins. To this union were born two children, Walter and Edith Hutchins, the latter dying at Aurora, Oreg., Aug. 7, 1914. Later she was married to S. F. Kremer at West Branch, Iowa, who preceded her in death about 6 months. She leaves to mourn their loss, one son, Walter Hutchins of St. Joseph, Mo., and three sisters, Mrs. Elmira Hoffman of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Naomi Cameron of Foreston, Minn., Mrs. Nettie Bruce of Oregon, and one brother Albert Gibheard of Foreston, Minn. Her age was 64 years, 11 months and 15 days.

The funeral was held from the home of A. F. Kremer Wednesday, May 17, 1916, at 2:30 p.m. Interment in the West Branch cemetery. Her son, Walter of St. Joseph, Mo., and sister, Mrs. Elmira Hoffman, of Omaha, Neb., were here to attend the funeral.
