Funeral services were held July 1 at the Turner chapel in Cedar Rapids for Ellen L. Sterner, widow of Roy N. Stevens.

Mrs. Stevens died in Iowa City June 28 following a long illness. She was born in Cedar county in 1893 and was a resident of Cedar Rapids for 65 years.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John Kyle of Detroit, Mrs. Lloyd Foster of Chicago and Mrs. Ray M. Cook of Marietta, Ga.; a son, Donald R. Stevens of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Mrs. Leo Just of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Willard E. Sawyer, Center Point.
