The funeral of Mary Jane Seitzsinger was held from the home of Peten Seitzsinger last Sunday, March 13, W. W. Hess conducting the service. Interment was made in the cemetery near Buchanan, Iowa.
The deceased was born in Pottsville, Pa., Feb. 2, 1831 and died March 11, 1904, being 73 years, 1 month and 7 day. Pneumonia caused her death.
She was one of a family of frontier children, of whom two survive her, namely, Ellen and Jacob Seitzsinger, both residents of Tipton. She was of a gentle and loving disposition and will be greatly missed in the circle in which she moved.
