The body of Jacob T. Seitsinger, who died at Long Beach, Calif., was brought here last week for burial in the family lot in Masonic cemetery.

Mr. Seitsinger suffered a stroke of paralysis and died before his daughter, who resides at Austin, Minn., could reach his bedside. She accompanied the remains to Austin, where a funeral service was held on Monday, March 30.

Mr. Seitsinger was born and reared in Cedar county four miles west of Tipton and lived in that vicinity many years, a highly respected neighbor and citizen. He was a brother of Miss Lena Seitsinger, Mrs. Laura Kissel and Mrs. William Geller. Another sister, Mrs. Harvey Leach, of Calif., also survives him. These are the remaining members of one of the pioneer families of Cedar county.
