William Maynard, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Maynard, died at the home of his parents three miles southeast of Iowa City Sunday morning. His death was caused by appendicitis. He was 19 years of age and was a great comfort to his parents and friends was beloved wherever known.

The Maynards were formerly residents of this section and sympathy will be extended them in their bereavement.
