The death of Mrs. Sena Jensen, 79, occurred early Tuesday morning, at the county hospital at Tipton, terminating several years of illness, during much of which time she was unable to walk.

She was born in Prestbro, Denmark, March 11, 1854, and became a citizen of the United States, June 20, 1882.

She was married to Soren C. Jensen, who died many years ago. They were the parents of four children, Julius, Jens, Anton and Anna. Julius and Anna, who was Mrs. Oluf Christensen, died several years ago. She is survived by two sons, Anton of Dike, and Jens Jensen of West Branch; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Her unselfish life, her devotion to her children after the death of her husband, and her bravery through many troubles, won for her the respect of all who knew her, and many were proud to call her "Friend." After her death she was brought to the home of Mrs. Louis Gibson, nearby her old home, until time for the funeral services held at the Lutheran church at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. E. L. Erlander officiated, and she was buried in the cemetery at West Branch.
