Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Meyer, the former Liberta Long, 45, were held Nov. 15 at the Chapman funeral home in Clarence with Dr. C. W. Ebbert of St. John's church in charge. Burial was in St. John's cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Sievers, Harlan Main, Everett Custis, Milton Chesire, Leland Schuman and Harold Thompson, all of Anamosa. Mrs. Robert Joslin was organist and Mrs. D. E. Kacer was solist.

Mrs. Meyer died Nov. 13 after a few months illness at her home in Anamosa.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Long, she was born June 6, 1917 at Clarence. She was married to Albert H. Meyer at Clarence March 28, 1940. After their marriage they made their home on a farm northwest of Clarence, later moving to Olin and then to Anamosa.

Mrs. Meyer was a member of the Clarence Methodist church, transferring her membership to St. John's United Church of Christ of which she was a member at the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband, 4 sons, Laverne, Larry, Dana and Dennis; a daughter, Janice; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Long, Clarence; a brother, Elroy, Stanwood; 3 sisters, Mrs. Darrel (Arlene) Leinbaugh, Mechanicsville; Mrs. Wilbur (Eleanor) Thoeming, Tipton and Mrs. Raymond (Beverly) Steinke, Clarence.
