Evan Bonsall, an aged and respected pioneer, died at his home on West Main street on Thursday evening, Jan. 17.

He had long been a sufferer from a malignant tumor on his neck, and of late had suffered excruciating pain, but was able to be about until shortly before death. He is survived by one daughter and three sons, his wife having died several years ago.
