Everett Branson, was born at West Branch, Iowa, Jan. 30, 1878, died Dec. 20, 1906, aged 28 years, 10 months and 20 days.

He was a birthright member of the Friends church. He became a Christian in childhood and has been an active member of the Christian Endeavor for many years, being Vice President of the society in Paonia when he died.

He was married to Lillie Paige of New Sharon, Iowa, Dec. 24, 1901. They moved to Paonia, Colo., in May, 1903, where they have since resided.

He leaves a wife and two small children, Roscoe and Roland; a father, Abner Branson, of New Sharon, four sisters, Miss Edith Branson and Mrs. Sadie Briggs, of New Sharon; Mrs. Lyda Reckwell, of Pasadena, Cal.; Mrs. Eva Wilkins, (twin sister), West Liberty, Iowa, and a foster sister, Mrs. Mildred Hoover of London, England, to mourn his loss.

In his last conscious moments he was rejoicing in his Saviour and in the hope of a home in Heaven.

The funeral was conducted in the Friends church of Paonia by the Pastor, Rev. E. Howard Brown, Saturday afternoon, Dec. 22d, and his body interred in the south cemetery.
