Grant Eugene Ingman, the son of Edward and Mary Ingman, was born in Tipton, Oct. 8, 1863, and passed away Sunday, April 21st, 1935. He has lived in Tipton all his life, following his work as painter and decorator and sign-painter. He was the last of his family. His two brothers George and Will had preceded him in death. He was of quiet disposition, going about his work in an unassuming manner. He had reached the age of 71 years, 6 months and 13 days.

Funeral services were conducted for Mr. Ingman at the Fred Wilson funeral parlors Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, with the Rev. Roscoe C. Jerrell in charge. Mrs. J. E. Chamberlain sang two hymns. The casket-bearers were Arthur Launtz, Sam T. Gordon, Lee Countryman and Bert Meyers. Burial was made in the Masonic cemetery.
