Willard Andrew Heneks, 84, of Lisbon died of cancer Tuesday at his home.

He was born Jan. 3, 1900, in Cedar County, where he farmed before retiring and moving to Lisbon in 1962. He later did carpentry and repair work in the Lisbon area. He married Marion Marie Thacher June 8, 1921. She died in 1979. On June 13, 1982, he married Rachel A. Miller at Mount Vernon. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Lisbon, was past worshipful master of Benjamin Franklin Lodge No. 574 and past worthy patron of the Lisbon Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three stepchildren, Judith Heady of Ann Arbor, Mich., Stephen Miller of Fremont, Nebr., and Marilyn Whitmore, Cedar Rapids; and seven stepgrandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Morgan Funeral Home, Lisbon, by the Rev. Kalen Fristad of Lisbon United Methodist Church. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville.
