Funeral services were held for Mrs. Frank Krumroy, 78, in the Methodist church, Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. James Nelson, officiating.

Mrs. Krumroy died in the Americana Nursing home, Cedar Rapids, early Saturday morning, Nov. 13, following an illness of several weeks.

Lula Thede Krumroy was born the daughter of Clause and Alvina Thede in Lowden on Feb. 16, 1887. On Feb. 6, 1913 she was married to Frank Krumroy and they were the parents of 5 children.

Mrs. Krumroy lived all her married life in Mechanicsville where she attended the Methodist church and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and three brothers.

Survivors include a son, Hillis, Wichita, Kans.; daughters, Mrs. Valerie Walker, San Antonio, Texas; Mrs. Valetta Quinn, Long Island, N.Y.; Mrs. Vida Marie Smyth, Marion, and Mrs. Valene Joslin, Cedar Rapids.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ella Hebbeln, Davenport; Mrs. Daisy Morden, Tipton; brothers, Joe Thede, Mason, John Thede, Maquoketa, Harry Thede, Davenport, and 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Weldon Woods, Ralph Becker, K. D. Krumroy, Allen D. Jackson, Merle Clifton and Robert Boots were pallbearers.
